Changing the Front Lower Suspension Arm
Changing the front lower suspension arms on the Jaguar X Type is a relatively straight-forward process, and often done in preferance to just changing the ball joints. The proceedure should not be attempted if you are inexperianced with mechanical work. Allow a minimum of 3 hours and up to 4 hours per side.
Important
It is very likely that the vehicle will need a wheel alignment after this proceedure, the vehicle may well be unsafe to use until this is done.
