Rear Brake Pad Replacement

Changing the rear Pads on the Jaguar X Type is a relatively simple process, allow about 25 minute a wheel if all goes well.

Equipment and Tools Required:-

• Suitable Jack
  
  and axle
  
  stand. (2 ton min)
• 13mm Ratchet
  
  combination Spanner.
• 11mm Ratchet
  
  Combination Spanner.
• 10mm 1/8
  
  drive medium/deep socket and wrench
• Copper slip

• Brake bleed pipe
  
  and container for waste fluid>
• Brake cylinder retraction tool
